For the SF models below -- Models A and C feature Vacuum florescent display (blue color display). Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is in model B. As for power requirements, Model A runs off 120 Volt AC power only, Model B runs off 120 Volt AC power adapter or takes 6 (D) batteries. Model C runs on 120 Volt AC power or has an optional rechargeable battery pack that is available.
